Nexus Digital answers
Start with a straight answer.
Whatever brought you here — supplier and invoice admin, managed IT, domains, Microsoft 365, cyber security, backup, automation, ISO readiness, office technology or one defined IT job — start with the question you actually have.
New · Nexus Business Register
Suppliers, spend and ISO evidence in one register.
Upload a supplier invoice and confirm it instead of typing it in. Free for 30 days, no card needed; plans from €25 a month including VAT.
What is Nexus Business Register?
Nexus Business Register is one register for what your business buys, owns and has to prove. Today it covers supplier and spend management (suppliers, purchase requests and approvals, supplier invoices and spend forecasting) and compliance and ISO evidence (supplier reviews, audits and the evidence behind each decision). An asset register for devices and software is coming soon.
Take the next stepHow much does Nexus Business Register cost?
You can start with a free 30-day trial for up to 5 users and 25 suppliers, with no card needed. Essentials is €25 a month and Professional is €47 a month, both including VAT. Enterprise is priced by quotation for organisations with more than 50 users or 2,500 suppliers.
Take the next stepWho is Nexus Business Register for?
Irish SMEs that buy from a growing list of suppliers and want control without extra admin: owner-managed businesses, contractors and trades, care homes and healthcare providers, and teams answering ISO or customer supplier questionnaires. Sole traders can use it too.
Take the next stepDo I have to type supplier invoices into Nexus Business Register?
No typing necessary. Upload the supplier invoice; we do the hard work and you just confirm or approve. A person confirms every invoice before it is treated as business evidence, and duplicate invoices are flagged before they are paid twice.
Take the next stepCan we record who actually uses a software subscription or licence?
Each subscription is recorded with its billing cycle, seats, renewal date and a named business owner today. Assigning individual licences to named people, departments or projects with start and end dates is coming next.
Take the next stepDoes a sole trader need to approve their own purchases in Nexus Business Register?
No artificial second-person approval is required. For owner-controlled purchasing, Nexus can record the request and the owner's confirmation so the audit trail captures the decision, supplier, value, evidence and timing without pretending that segregation of duties exists where it does not.
Take the next stepDoes Nexus Business Register integrate with QuickBooks Online or Xero today?
Live accounting synchronisation should not be assumed unless it has been specifically enabled for the customer's service. Nexus Business Register is being structured so approved supplier, purchasing and invoice data is cleaner and easier to reconcile with accounting platforms, with connected accounting integrations planned as the product matures.
Take the next stepCan you install a printer I already own?
Yes. Nexus Digital can install and connect an existing USB, Wi-Fi or network printer, configure the required computers and test printing and scanning. Tell us the make, model, connection type and number of users.
Take the next stepCan you help with unreliable business Wi-Fi?
Yes. We can investigate devices that will not connect, unreliable coverage, router configuration and the separation of staff and guest access. We agree the likely delivery route before work begins.
Take the next stepWhat does supply and fit mean?
Supply and fit means Nexus Digital supplies the agreed business equipment and separately scopes its installation, configuration, connection, testing and handover. Supply-only options remain available where appropriate.
Take the next stepCan you set up a complete small office?
Yes. A tailored small-office setup can include desktops, laptops, shared printing, secure Wi-Fi, business accounts, applications, remote-working access, testing and user handover.
Take the next stepCan you move hosted email to Microsoft 365?
Yes. We can assess mailboxes, domains, identity, data volumes and devices, then plan migration, cutover and user support. The exact scope depends on the current provider and business requirements.
Take the next stepWhy are our business emails going to spam?
Usually a mix of causes: a system sending as your business that was never set up, SPF, DKIM or DMARC that do not line up, a poor sender reputation, or the content itself. Our deliverability diagnostic on the Business Email & Microsoft 365 page finds which apply. No one can guarantee inbox placement, but most causes can be fixed.
Take the next stepCan you set up the same email signature for everyone?
Yes. We design one branded signature, fill in each person's details and roll it out. Microsoft 365's built-in company-wide signature is added after sending, so it does not show in Sent Items; a specialist signature tool avoids that. We explain the options first.
Take the next stepCan you reduce spoofed and spam email?
We can review mail flow, domain-protection records, identity controls, filtering and reporting. The purpose is to reduce impersonation and malicious-email risk while giving users a clear reporting and response route.
Take the next stepCan our business logo appear beside genuine emails?
Potentially. We can prepare the sending domain and approved logo for authenticated brand display using the BIMI standard. Display depends on the receiving mailbox provider, its eligibility criteria and the certificate route used, so it cannot be guaranteed in every inbox.
Take the next stepDoes our logo need to be trademarked for authenticated email branding?
Not always. A qualifying registered trademark is generally required for a Verified Mark Certificate. A Common Mark Certificate may support an established logo without that trademark requirement, although supported inbox experiences differ and Gmail reserves its verified checkmark for qualifying Verified Mark Certificate senders.
Take the next stepWhat is Drive-Through IT?
Drive-Through IT is Nexus Digital's controlled route for one clearly defined business technology job. You choose the closest outcome, provide a short secure brief and receive the appropriate scope, responsibility, price and booking, payment or quotation step without first entering a managed-service contract.
Take the next stepWhat jobs can I request through Drive-Through IT?
Suitable requests include printer installation, computer setup, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, business email protection, equipment installation, a defined Microsoft 365 task, a small automation or another bounded IT requirement. Wider projects, recurring support and higher-risk changes move into an assessed quotation or managed-service route.
Take the next stepIs Drive-Through IT an instant or emergency repair service?
No. Drive-Through IT makes the request and commercial route faster and clearer, but it does not bypass identity checks, security controls, technical assessment, scheduling or change approval. Urgent business impact can be identified in the request so the appropriate response can be confirmed.
Take the next stepCan a Drive-Through IT job become ongoing managed support?
Yes. A customer can begin with one job and later choose managed IT when continuing device, security, backup or user-support responsibility would provide better control. The managed scope, service levels, access and commercial terms are agreed separately.
Take the next stepDo I need a managed-service contract for a small job?
No. Drive-Through IT is designed for a specific one-off job such as a printer, Wi-Fi or computer setup. A managed relationship is recommended only when ongoing responsibility and visibility would benefit the business.
Take the next stepCan I contact Nexus Digital before I am a customer?
Yes. New and potential customers can request one-off help, ask for equipment, describe a project or discuss an ongoing service. We first confirm the appropriate scope and commercial route; support work is then attached to a customer, order, quotation, subscription or approved exception.
Take the next stepWhat is the difference between IT support and managed IT?
IT support is usually reactive: you call when something breaks and pay for the fix. Managed IT is proactive and ongoing: an agreed provider looks after devices, updates, security, backups, users and support, with named responsibility and a service history. Nexus offers both: one-off jobs through Drive-Through IT and ongoing managed IT when continuous responsibility makes sense.
Take the next stepHow do I choose an IT support company in Ireland?
Compare what is actually included rather than the headline price: helpdesk hours, onsite visits, security, backup checks, Microsoft 365 administration, onboarding and offboarding, documentation and reporting. Check set-up fees, out-of-hours charges, how hardware and warranties are handled, and whether you must sign a contract for small jobs. Nexus confirms scope, responsibility and price in writing before work begins.
Take the next stepDo you provide IT support in Galway?
Yes. Nexus Digital is based in Galway and supports businesses remotely across Ireland, with onsite visits scoped for each job where they are needed.
Take the next stepAre there set-up fees or call-out charges?
Nexus agrees the scope, delivery method and price before work starts, so any set-up, onsite or project cost is visible in the quotation or booking rather than added afterwards.
Take the next stepDo you support sole traders and one-person businesses?
Yes. Drive-Through IT is designed for one defined job, such as setting up a laptop, fixing Wi-Fi or protecting business email, without a managed-service contract. Nexus Business Register also works for sole traders, recording owner confirmations instead of pretending a second approver exists.
Take the next stepCan you set up new laptops or computers for staff?
Yes. Nexus can prepare a laptop or desktop for secure business use, including accounts, applications, updates, security and handover, and can supply the hardware as well if needed.
Take the next stepOur computers are slow or keep crashing. Can you help?
Yes. Describe the problem and Nexus will diagnose it remotely where possible or arrange an onsite visit, then agree whether it is a one-off fix, an upgrade or a sign that ongoing support would help.
Take the next stepCan you manage Microsoft 365 users and licences for us?
Yes. Managed IT can cover Microsoft 365 administration, including adding and removing users, licences, security settings and support. Nexus Business Register can also keep track of what each subscription costs and when it renews.
Take the next stepWhat should a small business do first about cyber security?
Start with the basics that stop most attacks: multi-factor authentication on email and key accounts, up-to-date devices, tested backups, protection against email spoofing and a clear process when someone leaves. Nexus can review these and fix the gaps in order of risk.
Take the next stepHow much does small-business IT help cost?
The cost depends on the job, delivery method, equipment and time required. Straightforward catalogue work can follow a defined booking or checkout route; uncertain, onsite or project work is confirmed by quotation before delivery begins.
Take the next stepWhat can managed IT include?
Managed IT can include service desk support, device and asset visibility, patching, security oversight, backup assurance, onboarding, offboarding, reporting and a maintained service history. Scope and responsibility are agreed in writing.
Take the next stepWhat business processes can you automate?
Typical opportunities include invoice steps, customer emails, forms, approvals, surveys, satisfaction feedback, notifications and moving validated information between people or systems. We also assess custom software and integrations.
Take the next stepCan Nexus build our complete digital business journey?
Yes. Nexus can deliver one stage or connect the full journey across domain ownership, hosting, website or web application, branded email, customer capture, business software or ERP, workflow automation, security, support, permission-aware marketing and satisfaction feedback.
Take the next stepIs Nexus Digital based in Ireland?
Yes. Nexus Digital is Irish based and is building its services around the practical needs, regulatory context and growth journeys of Irish businesses, while supporting remote and appropriately scoped onsite delivery.
Take the next stepHow is information in an enquiry handled?
We ask customers to provide only the information needed to understand and route the request, restrict operational access by role and maintain accountable service records. Customers should never send passwords, payment-card information or other secret credentials through an enquiry form.
Take the next stepIs all customer data guaranteed to stay in the EU?
Nexus designs customer solutions for EU-region primary data hosting and identifies relevant processors and safeguards during scope. An EU-only commitment is made only after the complete service architecture, including logs, communications, payments and integrations, has been verified for that service.
Take the next stepHow do VAT and quotations work?
Products, installation, delivery and recurring services are recorded as separate commercial items. Quotations and invoices can apply the configured VAT treatment for the item and transaction, subject to the applicable tax rules at that time.
Take the next stepIs Nexus Digital ISO certified?
Nexus Digital currently describes an operating and delivery framework aligned with recognised security, privacy and quality standards. Alignment is not a claim of independent certification. Service-specific controls are applied where relevant.
Take the next stepCan Nexus Digital help an Irish business prepare for ISO 27001?
Yes. We can help map information-security risks, assets, access controls, suppliers, incidents, backup, business continuity and technical evidence against an ISO 27001-aligned implementation plan. Nexus does not award certification; certification must come from an accredited independent certification body.
Take the next stepDo you provide ISO 9001 technology and workflow support in Ireland?
Yes. We can support the digital side of an ISO 9001-aligned management system, including controlled forms, approvals, document workflows, corrective-action records, customer feedback, service evidence and measurable process reporting. The scope is agreed around the organisation's management system and certification adviser.
Take the next stepCan you support ISO 22301 business continuity and disaster-recovery readiness?
Yes. Nexus can assess critical systems, dependencies, backups, recovery objectives, restoration tests, communications and evidence needed for an ISO 22301-aligned continuity programme. This may include backup assurance, recovery exercises and documented improvement actions.
Take the next stepCan you help with several ISO standards rather than only ISO 27001?
Yes. Technology, information and workflow controls can be designed to support an integrated management system spanning standards such as ISO 27001 for information security, ISO 9001 for quality and ISO 22301 for business continuity. We confirm the technical scope without presenting alignment work as certification.
Take the next stepDo you integrate WhatsApp Business with business workflows?
Yes. We can design WhatsApp Business integrations for permitted customer notifications, enquiries, status updates, reminders and controlled hand-offs. The solution must use an appropriate business platform or API, approved message templates where required, documented consent and a supported operational owner.
Take the next stepCan you build SMS notification and reminder workflows?
Yes. SMS can be integrated into booking reminders, job updates, payment prompts, service notifications, authentication journeys and exception alerts. We design the trigger, consent basis, message content, delivery evidence, failure handling and opt-out route around the business process.
Take the next stepCan WhatsApp, SMS, email and forms work in one automated process?
Yes. Nexus can connect web forms, email, WhatsApp, SMS, approvals and internal systems so information moves through one controlled workflow. Human review, exceptions, delivery status, audit records and customer communication can remain visible rather than becoming hidden automation.
Take the next stepCan you connect our systems through APIs?
Yes. We assess the systems, available APIs, authentication, data ownership, rate limits, failure handling and security requirements before building an integration. Typical work includes synchronising customer, job, invoice, asset, form or reporting data between supported platforms.
Take the next stepCan you integrate QuickBooks Online with our operational systems?
Where the required QuickBooks Online APIs and permissions support the intended process, Nexus can design controlled customer, invoice, payment-status or reporting integrations. Accounting ownership, approval rules, tax treatment, reconciliation and exception handling remain part of the agreed scope.
Take the next stepCan Nexus build a custom ERP, customer portal or business application?
Yes. We can discover, design and build secure business software, ERP functions, customer portals, operational dashboards and web applications. Delivery can include architecture, data design, role-based access, integrations, testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation and ongoing support.
Take the next stepDo you provide managed IT support for small businesses in Ireland?
Yes. Managed IT can combine helpdesk support, endpoint and asset management, patching, security oversight, Microsoft 365 support, backup assurance, onboarding, offboarding, reporting and documented service responsibility for Irish SMEs.
Take the next stepCan you provide onsite and remote IT support in Ireland?
Yes. Suitable incidents and configuration work can be handled remotely, while installations, office setups, networking and other location-dependent work can follow an agreed onsite route. Availability, travel, response targets and service boundaries are confirmed before work starts.
Take the next stepCan you manage business computers, patches and software remotely?
Yes. A managed endpoint service can provide device inventory, health visibility, patching, vulnerability remediation, approved software deployment, remote assistance and service reporting. The exact controls depend on device ownership, operating system and the agreed support policy.
Take the next stepDo you provide cyber security services for Irish small businesses?
Yes. Services can include security and risk reviews, identity and access protection, email security, endpoint controls, vulnerability reduction, patching, backup assurance, incident readiness, domain protection and practical improvement planning based on business risk.
Take the next stepCan you review backup and disaster recovery for Microsoft 365, servers or business systems?
Yes. We can review what is protected, retention, recovery objectives, administrative ownership, monitoring and restoration evidence. Where appropriate, Nexus can design or manage backup improvements and conduct controlled recovery tests for agreed systems.
Take the next stepCan you migrate email, files and users to Microsoft 365?
Yes. We can assess the existing provider, domains, mailboxes, identities, files, permissions and devices, then plan migration, coexistence or cutover, validation and user support. Complex or hybrid environments require discovery before a migration commitment is made.
Take the next stepCan you set up a domain, website and professional business email?
Yes. Nexus can establish business-owned domain records, hosting, a responsive website, enquiry capture, branded email and appropriate domain-security controls. Ownership, renewals, administrative access and handover are documented so the digital foundation remains under business control.
Take the next stepCan Nexus build an SEO-ready website for an Irish business?
Yes. We can build a responsive business website around the services, customers, Irish locations and enquiries you need to win. The scope can include technical SEO, useful service content, structured data, page metadata, performance, accessibility, Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and measurable call, form or WhatsApp conversion journeys.
Take the next stepCan you install Google Analytics, Search Console and Microsoft Clarity correctly?
Yes. Nexus can configure Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, GA4 through Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity as part of a controlled measurement plan. Non-essential analytics must respect the visitor's consent choice, and access, retention, processors and reporting ownership are documented.
Take the next stepCan you add Meta Pixel and track Facebook or Instagram campaign results?
Yes. When paid social campaigns are in scope, we can configure consent-controlled Meta Pixel measurement and assess Meta Conversions API for more dependable server-side conversion reporting. We define the approved events, prevent unnecessary personal-data collection, test deduplication and retain a clear way to withdraw consent.
Take the next stepCan you track calls, forms and WhatsApp enquiries from a website?
Yes. We can define meaningful conversion events for telephone links, enquiry forms, quotation requests, product selections and WhatsApp contact. Reporting is designed around genuine business outcomes rather than vanity traffic, with consent and data-minimisation controls applied where required.
Take the next stepDo you supply and install business computers, printers and network equipment?
Yes. The quotation-led shop covers business and home computers, tablets, accessories, printers, network switches, VPN firewall routers and small comms-room packages. Exact models, stock, warranty, VAT-inclusive price, delivery and Fit for me installation are confirmed before order.
Take the next stepCan you configure a firewall, network switch or small communications room?
Yes. Nexus can assess the site and supply, configure, install, label and test suitable routers, firewalls, managed or unmanaged switches, cabinets, patching and related network components. Administrative ownership and the agreed configuration are included in handover.
Take the next stepCan you process point clouds or prepare survey drawings in Revit?
Yes. Specialist requests can include point-cloud processing, survey information and Revit-based drawings where the supplied data, required outputs, accuracy, responsibilities and intended use are clearly agreed. These projects follow a discovery and quotation route.
Take the next stepCan you help digitise building retrofit and technical-design workflows?
Yes. Nexus can assess digital workflows supporting heat-pump, solar PV, floor-heating, underfloor-heating and related retrofit design activities, including customer capture, survey data, drawings, calculations, approvals, documents and operational hand-offs. Engineering responsibility and required professional sign-off are confirmed in scope.
Take the next stepWhat is technology governance and operating control?
Technology governance gives the business clear ownership, decision rights and management visibility across systems, suppliers, licences, access, changes, risks, continuity and performance. Nexus can turn fragmented arrangements into a practical operating model with named owners, review routines, evidence and accountable follow-through.
Take the next stepCan you help when system ownership and technology approvals are unclear?
Yes. We can map critical systems and dependencies, identify who owns business and technical decisions, define approval and escalation routes, document exceptions and create a manageable review cadence. This is especially useful when the owner or one key employee has become the default coordinator for every technology problem.
Take the next stepCan Nexus organise IT suppliers, licences, access, changes, risk and continuity?
Yes. A technology-governance engagement can establish supplier and licence records, joiner and leaver controls, privileged-access reviews, change approval, risk and corrective-action tracking, continuity evidence and concise management reporting. The goal is visible control without unnecessary bureaucracy.
Take the next stepWhat does Nexus Domain & Trust manage?
Nexus Domain & Trust brings the business lifecycle of domains, DNS, certificates, email-trust controls, renewals and ownership into one managed route. The goal is to make sure the business knows what it owns, who controls it, what expires and what must be protected.
Take the next stepCan Nexus register and manage a .ie domain for my business?
Nexus can help scope domain registration and ongoing management, including ownership records, DNS configuration, renewals and handover. Registration remains subject to the relevant registry and registrar rules, eligibility checks and availability of the requested name.
Take the next stepCan Nexus manage SSL certificates and certificate renewals?
Yes, where certificate management is included in scope. Nexus can track certificate ownership, deployment, expiry and renewal responsibilities so website and service certificates do not become hidden operational risks.
Take the next stepWhat is Nexus Sign?
Nexus Sign is the planned Nexus business-app route for electronic signing and controlled document approval. It is intended to keep signing, approval status and document evidence clear inside a business process. Availability and exact commercial scope should be confirmed before relying on it for a live signing workflow.
Take the next stepWhat does Device Management cover?
Device Management is the ongoing control layer for supported business computers and devices. Depending on scope it can include inventory, health visibility, patching, approved software deployment, security oversight, remote assistance and lifecycle records, while the Technology Asset Register remains the business record of ownership and assignment.
Take the next stepWhat if my requirement is not listed?
Ask us. We can assess software development, integration, data, infrastructure and other technology requirements, then confirm feasibility, scope, commercial route and support responsibility.
Take the next stepHow can we help?
Request securely. Do not send passwords or payment-card details. We use the information supplied to respond and correctly route your request.
